Several rounds of severe storms charged through the central United States, sparking tornadoes, hail, and flooding Tuesday. The severe weather is expected to continue into May, which is the most active month for severe storms across the region. Isolated severe thunderstorms rumbled across the south-central U.S. on Tuesday morning, spawning a tornado near Sulphur, Oklahoma, and hammering Amarillo, Texas, with golf ball-sized hail. Storm chaser Brandon Clement captured spectacular up-close drone footage showing the funnel cloud in Sulphur swirling across various parts of the landscape and over a small body of water.
