Hydroplane On Interstate Lands Truck On Guardrail

A truck smashed through the guardrail on I-55 southbound Sunday afternoon. The truck ended up dangling off the edge of the highway near Brooks Road. The driver said he hydroplaned on the slick roadway and ended up on the guardrail. He was able to escape without any injuries. At least one lane was blocked on I-55 southbound as crews worked to pull the truck back onto the roadway.
