1-year-old rescued from burning Deltona home

A Volusia County Sheriff’s deputy rescued a 1-year-old child from a burning home in Deltona Tuesday morning. Rescuers from Deltona Fire Rescue and the Volusia County Fire Department were called to the 2900 block of Bath Street where they found fire on the porch of the home and inside in the front of the home. Brian Holley was at work when he learned his house was on fire. His wife Samantha, his 2- and 4-year-old daughters and infant niece were home alone. "She was actually getting ready to give one of the girls a bath and walked back in the room for something and there it was all up in flames," said Holley.
